I love sheet masks. I have been using them since high school. The first time I used a sheet mask, my parents left me and my brothers for a week to go to Taiwan. While they were gone, all we ate was junk food, and my face basically broke out in hives from all the crap I was putting in my body. When my mom came back, she brought home some skin care products and amongst them was these sheet masks. Apparently, Asian women have been using these for ages and my mom made me sit there for 30 mins with a mask on. To this day, I have no idea the brand or what was in it (everything was in Chinese and I don’t speak, let alone read it). What I do know is that the very next day my face was completely clear, and I have been a HUGE fan of sheet masks since.

My problem is that now that they’ve gotten super popular, they’ve gotten super expensive. I’m a huge believer in not spending more than like $2 on a sheet mask, because 10 years ago before they got super popular, they were only about $1/mask. I usually go to an Asian beauty store to buy them, but my biggest problem is I can’t read anything on the packaging, so I really have no idea what they’re supposed to be doing or what the ingredients are. Sometimes I can guess by the picture, but for the most part, it’s a gamble. Then I saw these Tony Moly sheet masks on Amazon all 11 different masks (I used one before I took the picture) they have for $10.70. AMAZEBALLS. I already am  HUGE fan of Tony Moly products.  I’ve been using these every day for the past few days, and my skin feels amazing. I am breaking out a bit, but it’s purging because I decided to invest in the Foreo Luna mini 2 and I ran out of a charcoal mask to help clear it up faster. If you like sheet masks, I highly recommend getting this pack esp if you want to try out the different masks to see which one works best for you.
