Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder

I bought these before I started seeing them pop up on Instagram and YouTube, but hadn’t had the chance to play with it yet. So, I was stoked when I started seeing all these YouTubers talking about them and naturally needed to bust it out to try it out. Not going to lie I was expecting more from these. From all the Snapchat and Insta swatches, these looked way more foiled than they ended up being.

Left is Illuminati and on the right is Gold Digger. THESE are really glittery. If I thought the Anastasia Ultimate Glow Palette was glittery, these are like those on crack. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t specifically meant as highlighters (as far as I know), so these really could just be pigment and sparklers.

Honestly, look at that glitter. These are really pretty on the eyelid or on top of another highlight, but I don’t think I could use these alone as a highlight.

The formula is REALLY similar to the Danessa Myricks Enlight Illuminators. This just has a little more glitter. I would recommend these if you’re looking for sparklers/pigment, but not if you’re looking to use it as a highlighter, I would pass. These run for $27 each, and I found mine at Naimie’s. It’s pricey, but really pigmented (I used the TEENIEST amount to swatch these) so I think it’s worth it if you think you might want that much of one product (it’s a pretty big container). Has anyone tried any of the other colors? I’m wondering if maybe the two I got just happened to be the most glittery. Let me know if you have swatches!
