Gold Festival Look

My go to look is always all bronze/gold everything. It’s flattering on all skins types is extra glam and it’s usually pretty easy. I used to always do all gold makeup when I actually used to go to the Sun God festival at UCSD. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been, but since that was always my go to, I knew I wanted to go a gold based look, but wasn;t sure what I wanted to do until I saw this on Pinterest and I knew I had to incorporate these colors.

I did still want to to be a really easy makeup look because the last thing you want to do during a 3-day festival is spend hours doing your makeup.

For this look, I basically used just the Morphe 25A palette. I couldn;t even begin to tell you which shadows I used, but I did use the antique gold (2nd row from the bottom & 2nd shadow from the right) mixed with balm for my lipstick. I also used that same color with a very fluffy brush and lightly used it to blend my shadows all in, also to give it that more gold color.

This time I decided to go back to the HOL Mini Iconic lashes.

The rhinestones are just some nail rhinestones I had laying around in a few different shades of blue, but the lighting makes them all look the same.

Here’s in from a  different lighting angle.

You could also dress it up with a headpiece (or in my case a necklace used as a headpiece).

Annnddd thanks to Snapchat, I can show you what it would look like with a flower crown. 😛

I have another look that I’m hoping to get done, but I need to figure out how to execute it first. Until then, I do have some new DOC matte liquid lipsticks so stay tuned for that post!
