Since most of this collection is still available online, I decide to show you a look I did using the Dose of Colors DesixKaty Collection a little while back.

Foundation: NARS – All Day Luminous
Brows: Benefit – Ka Brow
Eyes: Turbosan
Highlight: Mirame (I’ve been liking this better because I’ve been fairly tan even though it doesn’t look like it in this picture – which I did not lighten it’s just the way the clouds were out – but Fuego is really pretty too) Also note – Fuego is still available at Naimies
Blush – Dose of Colors Mint to be Collection – STATEMINT
Lips – Dose of Colors Savage with a dab of Merlot in the center (my favorite fall combo)

To be 100% honest, I did notice that the eyeshadows irritate my eyes a little (I typically can’t do too much glitter because it irritates me), but it’s not as bad as most glitter shadows, and even though it’s the best selling item in the collection, I did not love the lipgloss as much as I wish I did. The color is GREAT, but the glitter is a little too chunky for me and it does irritate my lips after awhile. Benefit did have a 24K lipgloss that came out a few years ago (and is my favorite) and it looks the same, but the gold is more refined so it doesn’t bother my lips at all. Considering the Benefit gloss has been sold out for a long time now, it’s nice to have a replacement.

The items I did get 2nds of (during the last restock) for when my current items run out are both highlighters (because I’m obsessed), and both liquid lipsticks. Since it hasn’t completely sold out yet, I definitely think it’s worth giving a try if you haven’t yet. ESP the highlights. If you like the more bold lip, the liquid lipsticks are great too, but I can see a lot of people being terrified of those colors. I think these will make GREAT Christmas presents for those who love makeup and the packaging is to die for. I’m probably going to get some as stocking stuffers for some lucky people. 😉
