As some of you may have noticed (but probably not, because I’ve been MIA for SOOOOO long now), I changed my blog name and URL. I felt like I outgrew my old blog and was feeling very stunted. I was barely even able to post to Instagram because I just didn’t feel like I had much to post about. Well, if you follow my IG page you know I’m expecting a little baby boy soonish. Despite the fact that I love blogging and reading about other people’s lives, I’m actually a really private person when it comes to my personal life. It took us a LONG time to even share with family and friends that I was pregnant (although my husband wanted to shout it from the rooftops). I mostly ended up telling people out of necessity (because we were seeing them and it would have been really obvious, or something to that effect), and only announced it on social media, less than a month ago (I’m like 4 days off the third tri). The majority of my not having much to blog about lately is that I’ve been on and off moderate bed rest for most of my pregnancy. It’s been tough because I get really restless and I miss being able to go out and do stuff. Unfortunately for me, I’ve had a lot of unusual bleeding. The baby has been perfectly fine every time, but it’s more my own body not handling the extra stress and weight well. I knew that getting pregnant for me was not going to be super easy like it is for some [extremely lucky] women. I’ve had on and off health issues since I was 21 and we knew it was bound to complicate things a little. I’m still very lucky and grateful that nothing has been serious, that my little bundle of joy is healthy and doing well, and that I have been able to get pregnant in the first place. So needless to say, my blog post going forward will probably get a little more baby / pregnancy centric (sorry for that), but I will be back to talk about changed skincare routine, hair care, and some beauty and fashion tips to survive a pregnancy.
