My baby cousin got married last month at the Redondo Beach Historic Library. I dont know why, but I struggled to find a dress in store that would compliment the venue, but ModCloth never lets me down. It’s where I buy most of my dresses (I even bought my own wedding reception dress there, but that’s for another day). Anyway, I wanted it to be elegant / classy enough for the venue, but I wanted an edgy twist to it and ModCloth really pulled through for me. I really wish that I had gotten a good outfit photo, but I was so busy doing everyone’s makeup and running around helping, that I completely forgot to. So instead I’m just gonna post what I wore.

The dress itself is SOOO elegant, but it was super easy to give it an edgy twist with accessories, a chunky heel, and a moto jacket. For anyone curious, the dress is really well made. It has a super thick and heavy fabric (which was great because it rained that day), and it lays really well. It was a little tight in the bust area (I am a 34G so… most things are tight in the bust), but it has quite a bit of stretch. The cut is super forgiving if you have a little (or in my case a lot) to love, and the thickness of the fabric holds you in really well. I am in LOVE with this dress and wish I had another reason to wear it!
