  1. Rimmel ScandalEyes Thick and Thin Liquid Liner – I don’t know how ANYONE uses this. It is SOOO rough on the eyes I couldn’t even do one eye, because I wanted to CRY from how painful it was to drag this across my eyelid. I imagine it feels similar to taking a course nail file across your eye, but I can’t confirm because I’ve never actually done that.

2) Loreal Voluminous Miss Manga Rock – I don’t HATE this product by any means, I just don’t think it’s anything special. I’m sure it works much better if you actually have lashes, but I have little Asian lashes and it just doesn’t work well for me.

3) Clarisonic Cashmere brush head – This is another not terrible, but not great product either. I wanted SOOO badly to make my Clarisonic work for me, but even the Sensitive brush head was too rough on my face. I decided to try the Cashmere one even though it was $30 just for the head. While this one is SIGNIFICANTLY more gentle than the Sensitive, it’s still irritates my skin. The LAVO brush is cheaper for the WHOLE brush than this head, and it’s more gentle. I think the Clarisonic system is just a bust for me.

4) House of Lashes Iconic Mini – I’m so sad that these ended up on this list. I wanted SOO badly for the Iconic lashes to work because they look so good on everyone, but I knew they would be too long on me. When these launched I was so excited I jumped on it. I can’t get them to stay on to save my life and I use their lash glue. The band is just too thick for my eyes and I can’t seem to get them to grip to my lash line. I think it would work better if I had more full lashes, but sadly I have sparse teeny lashes. I did grab the new Tinkerbell ones that have a thinner band, so I’ll let you know how that goes.

  1. Omg I’m waiting for the restock on these iconic mini’s! I have the same problem as you (barely there, tiny lashes). I use the IT cosmetics tight line mascara (it grabs every lash!) and there is something about the formula that makes falsies adhere better. I went super hyper on my Snap when I discovered this. Please try the mascara it did wonders for me and my falsies xo

    1. I’ll have to give it a try! I usually don’t put mascara on until after I put the lashes on but maybe I’ll try it the other way around! Thanks for the tip!

      1. Haha the only reason why I do it after is because it’s harder for me to get a good angle to plop them down. Lol
